The SCR Convention, "Plant It Pink," hosted by Arkansas Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc., was held in North Little Rock, AR, March 30-31, 2012. Convention Chairman, Derenda Stanley, and Co-Chair, Nell Freeman, both from the Southeast District, provided a variety of activities for the attendees. State presidents reported of the activites and projects of their clubs. SCR Chairmen gave reports and updates. Members attending enjoyed a "Pink" Fashion Show". Models from AR looked wonderful in the clothes provided by Dillards.
The SCR 2013 Convention will be held in Albuquerque, NM, March 22-23. Registration Forms and information will be on website when available.

Deadlines for information to Editor Marillyn Lay for publication in The Communicator:
June 1, September 1, December 1, and March 1. Publications are received in July, October, January, and April. They are $6 for one year and $12 for 2 years.
